Instrument Meteorological Conditions

The IMC rating is now here to stay after a long period of uncertainty. It has been proven as a rating of great value to PPL pilots.

This is a very useful rating for your PPL which will greatly enhance your skills, making you a better pilot, more confident, especially in controlled airspace.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) welcomed a proposal from the European Commission to allow the UK to continue issuing the Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) rating for pilots until April 2019. The move follows considerable effort by the CAA and UK GA to support the retention of the rating.

Cap 804 FCL Mandatory Requirements Part E.

Full time courses, (15 hours @ £185 per hour) £2775
landing and approach fees NOT included
Revalidation training as required.

The Business Flyer printable pdf

If you are considering buying your own aircraft for your business or pleasure and you want to learn to fly it yourself then I can offer instruction which is flexible to suit you and your business. You get individual tuition which works around your schedule to suit your business.

I specialise in teaching flying on a one to one basis, giving you the best possible opportunity to move through the syllabus with confidence.
You may have an unpredictable work load with short notice of breaks or only be able to dedicate one day per week, this can be accommodated. I have taught this way for many years with much success.
When you have completed the training and been issued a Private Pilot Licence, I can help you gain the experience to take your flying forward safely, to enhance your skills so you can benefit from being an ‘owner operator’ and make the most of all the advantages that this brings for you personally and for your business. Training can be done using your own aircraft.
